An affiliate at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith was fatally shot at a McDonald’s in Houston on Saturday after making an attempt to calm an indignant buyer who was dissatisfied along with his order, in keeping with Houston police.
Jeffrey Limmer, 46, died when the client shot him twice outdoors the restaurant, report Fox 26 Houston, Click2Houston and KTRK.
Limmer’s sister, Jennifer Thomas, informed KTRK that she’s not stunned that her brother died whereas making an attempt to assist others.
“He’s at all times wished to battle for the little man,” she mentioned. Limmer was “a superb Samaritan who’s making an attempt to do the correct factor.”
After Limmer tried to defuse the state of affairs contained in the McDonald’s, he stepped outdoors with the indignant buyer. Limmer pushed the person to the bottom, police mentioned. The person then went to his automotive, retrieved a gun and shot Limmer. The shooter fled in a pickup truck.

Limmer lived close to the McDonald’s, his sister informed KTRK. He performed quarterback for his highschool soccer group and was an outfielder for the baseball group.
Greg Monteverde is a longtime pal of Limmer’s who performed highschool soccer with him and attended the identical church as Limmer.
“I believed it was courageous” to attempt to calm the client, Monteverde informed Fox 26. “I respect it. I feel a whole lot of us knew Jeff to be that kind of particular person.”
