In an order filed Feb. 15, the state supreme courtroom modified its legal professional admission rule to permit graduates of non-ABA-accredited legislation faculties to request a waiver to take the examination, report Reuters and Law.com.
The Indiana Board of Regulation Examiners can grant the waiver if the applicant was eligible at commencement to take the examination in one other state. The supply permits candidates to hunt waivers in the event that they graduate from a completely on-line legislation college or a California-accredited legislation college as a result of California permits these graduates to take the examination, Reuters explains.
The change takes impact July 1, enabling candidates for the February 2025 bar examination to request a waiver.
