Scorsese movie is amongst 29 finalists for 2024 Silver Gavel Awards

An Academy Awards-nominated movie directed by Martin Scorsese is among the many nominees for the ABA’s 2024 Silver Gavel Awards for Media and the Arts.
The ABA has named 29 finalists amongst 176 entries within the contest, which acknowledges excellent work that fosters the American public’s understanding of legislation and the authorized system, in line with a March 20 ABA press release.
The Academy Awards-nominated movie is Killers of the Flower Moon, which was shut out on the Academy Awards, regardless of its nomination in 10 classes, in line with Forbes. The film is in regards to the murders of Native People after oil is found on their reservation.
The movie is one among two nominees within the Drama & Literature class, one among 9 classes within the contest. Essentially the most crowded class is the Books class, with seven finalists.
